4th Friday, Meatballs and more

Ok, let me just get this out there, Bill Murray is the best. Ever.

Also, I like meatballs. So you can imagine that when one of my favorite local BBQ joints has a screening of Bill Murray's 1979 classic Meatballs and an epic dinner that includes; Gouda Stuffed Smoked Meatballs, chili-garlic rapini, with roasted tomato vodka cream sauce and rigatoni for $12, I'll be there. The party starts at 8:30 tonight, and to make things even sweeter tonight also happens to be East End 4th Friday and there are a slew of other great things to do in the neighborhood before the show.

I'll break it down for you like this. It's hot out, so you're going to want to start out your day at J&J Spirits for some delicious Poptails. "Pop what?" you say. Don't worry about it, just trust me.

Then go ahead and cross the street and check out Tiny Taiga.who has created a pop up Tiny Market with local partners MALK- Raw Almond and Pecan MilkCorocoro South American Art Imports & Boutique jewelry, Brookes GeneralLymbo Clothing and Riley DoRight.

Parched, or have some time to kill? Skip over to Quickie Pickie for 10% off, or slip over to Hillside Farmacy for a $5 Old Fashioned.

Finally, your last stop before Micklethwait will be the Hackworth & Olive launch party. Here's the details on that.

Up and coming Minneapolis designer, Hackwith, believes "that your favorite piece of clothing doesn’t have to be shared; it can be as unique as you are!" We couldn't agree more. That's why we've collaborated with them to create a limited edition capsule collection exclusively for Olive! Clocking in at just 10 of a kind, the three piece collection embodies everything we think a gal should have on hand: an easy, dress up/dress down black dress, a chambray jumpsuit ideal for running around town and a toss on kimono just right for layering. Join us in celebrating Hackwith's gorgeous work & score one the the few-of-a-kind beauties for yourself! Libations on hand for early arrivers.

See you there!
