You’ve got to love a 60’s ranch with original details. I wish someone would built homes today with all of that wood paneling, it’s such a good look. This one was designed in 1962 by architect William J. Scudder. Anyone have any more info on him?

The listing says it’s a 1965 house, but I’m pretty sure there isn’t much left of that original house here. Not that it’s a bad thing either, this updated version, built in the last few years, is an absolute masterpiece. Really lovely space both indoors and out.

This one is a tad bit close to MoPac to be a complete no brainer, but the architecture is compelling enough to take a second look. That combined with a reasonable price and a large lot makes me think that with a little creativity this could be a gem.

Being a child of the 70’s and growing up in the Mountain West I have a deep nostalgia for these wooden 70’s contemporary builds. I imagine they must have been the modern farmhouse of the time, and I personally think they’ve aged well. Interiors are slightly dated on this one but the spaces… chefs kiss.
