Luxury means many different things to many different people. The real estate industry classifies a property as "Luxury" if it is priced over $750,000, but any decerning buyer or seller should know that luxury is much more than just a dollar figure. As architect and furniture designer Charles Eames once said: "The details are not the details, they make the product". There is perhaps no other segment of real estate where this is more true than with luxury properties. It's being able to tell the difference between generic european cabinetry and a well known product like Bulthaup or Poliform. It's about quality, design and craftsmanship. Those are the details that catch my eye every time I walk through a property with you. For someone selling a luxury property the same rule applies. The details make the product, starting with proper staging and an interior design consultation if needed, and then professional architectural photography. It's the product of all the little things that come together to make the whole.

This Breckstudio Architecture designed home in Bouldin Creek is a modern masterpiece. Simple but interesting massing dominates the exterior facade, while inside you find a strong focus on natural materials and neutral colors.

Really beautiful work by GCDD on this luxury home. It’s so rare to see sweeping rounded shapes in residential architecture but it gives the house such an elegant look. I really love the interior finishes as well, the warm bright esthetic is perfectly complimentary to the architecture.

It’s no secret that Alterstudio is one of my most favorite architects in Austin, and after just a few peeks into this stunning home hopefully you can see why.
